A great email marketing tool is a must!  We currently use ConvertKit and it is awesome.  It is very easy to use, and comes with a free 14-day trial.  I love how easy it is to create autoresponders and marketing workflows.  It also sorts subscribers by tags or interests instead of keeping them siloed in list format.  This makes it easier to deliver content your readers may be interested in.

Co-Schedule

Wave Accounting

I love using Wave for my small business. It it is absolutely free, but has upgraded services for payroll and credit card processing, but pretty much everything else is free.  It is comparable to Freshbooks, but A LOT more affordable.  How does free sound?  I use it just to manage my business expenses, and it is great! The app allows you to take pictures of receipts on the go and categorize them. That way, I never get behind come tax time.  You can set up repeat bills and see your financial wellness in one place.  You can also upgrade as you scale and have a bookkeeper manage everything in Wave for you which sounds pretty amazing.

Trello

Let’s get real.  You need to stay organized if you plan on running a successful business.  That is where Trello comes in.  It is SO easy to use and you can quickly and efficiently manage all your tasks, work on projects, collaborate with others, and store information on how to complete tasks for you business if you use virtual assistants.  It is absolutely free to use, though you can upgrade to some premium features if you want at a very inexpensive cost.

Tailwind

This tool is fire if you need a solution for managing your Pinterest or Instagram accounts.  Using Tailwind, you can easily save time by scheduling posts in advance, and using Tribes to get your content noticed online.  Using Tailwind is one of the best decisions I made.  My Pinterest account has grown exponentially as a result!  Try it out!  The first month is free.

Teachable

Are you an online course creator?  Do you want to be?  If so, you really should check out Teachable.  They have amazing resources and training programs.  Additionally, they have both free and paid account options, so you can try out course creation without a large upfront investment.
